Here’s a quick preview from this weekend’s festivities! I loved photographing the Junior League of Charlottesville’s annual fundraiser, held at the Boar’s Head Pavilion. Many local businesses and individuals came together to make the evening a huge success, and all proceeds will go to support local charities… Pretty neat, right? Also, be sure to check out the awesome design work by Dani Antol of Rock Paper Scissors.

Charity: Water

Earlier this month I had the pleasure and honor of photographing Charity: Water’s sixth annual gala at the 69th Regiment Armory in NYC. The evening included a live auction hosted by Jessica Biel and Tyler Perry, during which enough money was raised to provide clean water for 100,000 people in Tanzania, Sierra Leone and Cambodia. Seriously, these folks do amazing work. (From their site:) “Charity: Water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. %100 of public donations directly fund water projects.” How cool is that?!

Ginny & Webb, Macon, GA

Ginny and Webb got married in early November at her grandmother’s beautiful home in Macon, GA, and we were honored to be there and celebrate with them. Even though we were guests (my handsome husband was in the wedding party), I couldn’t resist bringing my camera and snapping a few detail shots. It was a glorious day…

I loved photographing beautiful little C. the other day at UVA. She’s so sweet, curious, and full of personality. Can you tell we had fun? Even though Halloween had passed, her mom brought this year’s homemade cupcake costume for a few fun shots. That’s one talented mom if you ask me!
